Social Studies Project Using Glogster
As part of the grade four social studies curriculum, students were asked to create a glog (online poster) that would help them and the rest of the class answer the question, What natural resource has the least impact on the land? They were asked to locate at least one video, three images, and print information that would help answer the question.
We spent some time looking at glogs that had been selected ahead of time. There was discussion about what made them easy to “read,” and not so easy to “read.” Then we came up with a list of criteria to make an excellent glog. Below you will find a rubric which specifically outlines the key criteria.
